SportHub Receives First Aid Kit Donation from The Trusts to Support West Auckland Programmes

SportHub Community Trust is excited to announce a generous donation of first aid kits from The Trusts, which will help ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants across its local programmes.

The donation, part of The Trusts’ ongoing Community Support initiative, will provide essential first aid equipment for SportHub’s three venues, as well as for coaches running school taster sessions and after-school programmes throughout West Auckland. With over 20,000 people attending SportHub activities each year, the kits will play a vital role in maintaining a safe environment for children and families.

“First aid is a crucial part of keeping our programmes safe and enjoyable,” said Fayth, SportHub’s Funding, Schools, and Communications Coordinator. “We are incredibly grateful to The Trusts for supporting our community and helping us continue to deliver fun, safe, and engaging activities for local tamariki.”

SportHub runs a range of programmes including basketball, badminton, volleyball, and dance, reaching schools and community centres across the region. This donation ensures that both participants and coaches are well-prepared in the event of minor injuries or emergencies.

The Trusts’ commitment to supporting community initiatives in West Auckland demonstrates the impact local organisations can have in enhancing safety, wellbeing, and participation in youth and community programmes.
